ii've borrowed alot of books on crafts , and spent alot of time on them . so tht's 3 things off my to-do list .

SPANISH . ii've given up on it . th nouns are really bad . and th sentence structure would make youe OMG .

have been out with Jiaying , Wailin , and Manyun ! (:

our first trip was to Orchard Ion and Takashimaya .

we ended up taking random pictures with soft toys . but it was fun ! haha .

cause Manyun was randomly disturbing Wailin (knocking into her on purpose) . and she said "Pumme !"
not realising tht it was supposed to be a sound effect , ii asked Miss. Man what was Pumme .
so she said , "Pumme is defined as th sound produced by butt banging ."
we were like ROFLOL !
ya . so tht's th origin of pumme :P

oh , we went to seach for job opportunities as well .
(we actually walked from Northpoint to Yishun SAFRA . LOL)
but sadly , at th end of th day , we were still unempolyed . YES II KNOW . SOCIETY'S BURDEN . (IDK how many times ii've been told this alr . LOL)

there were lots of lots of lots of stuff in Bugis street .
great place for retail therapy .
sadly th 3 of us didnt bring alot of $ . haha !

we went back to Bugis junction . ate Sakae sushi for lunch (Wailin went broke after tht)
Miss. Man also did some retail therapy . she bought 2 shirts . OK , not really a shirt . but ii don't know th proper name for it . nvm then . haha .

uhhh . after tht , we went to Suntec . TO GO TO TOYS R US TO TAKE PICTURES WITH TH TOYS .
hahaha , yes , we were tht lame .
actually , we nearly got lost there . cause we entered from th wrong entrance . LOL .

so yeah . had loads of fun too . :P

while we were window shopping in Bugis Junction , we went into Guardian . at th entrance , there was a section selling fake lashes or something .
there was a model as well (printed , not real :P)

was on my way home . passed by Northpoint .
okay . more of delibrately entered Northpoint . for ice cream . LOL .
but tht's not th point .

while ii was entering th "Old wing" of Northpoint , ii saw an uncle selling tissue .
ii really wanted to help him (usually ii buy tissue from without taking th tissue (okay . tht doesn't make sense . rephrase : ii'll just give them a dollar .))
but ii only had 80 cents . and a $10 note <- if ii really gave him th note , ii don't need to end for th rest of th week alr . LOL .

so ii just kind of walked past guiltily .
after buying ice cream (guitily again) , ii walked past him .
and at this point of time , ii saw a security guard "chase" him out of Northpoint .
so 我感到心疼 la .
ii was still thinking about this incident whn ii reached th underpass .
thn ii saw another uncle sitting on th floor selling tissue . (yes , ii guiltily walked past him again , wondering why th government doesn't help these people out .)

but tht's not all .
ii saw another blind old uncle selling tissue (yeah . 3rd time .)

"Roses for Rose

Red roses were her favorites, her name was also Rose.

And every year her husband sent them, tied with pretty bows.

The year he died, the roses were delivered to her door.

The card said, "Be my Valentine," like all the years before.

Each year he sent her roses, and the note would always say,

"I love you even more this year, than last year on this day."

"My love for you will always grow, with every passing year."

She knew this was the last time that the roses would appear.

She thought, he ordered roses in advance before this day.

Her loving husband did not know, that he would pass away.

He always liked to do things early, way before the time.

Then, if he got too busy, everything would work out fine.

She trimmed the stems, and placed them in a very special vase.

Then, sat the vase beside the portrait of his smiling face.

She would sit for hours, in her husband's favorite chair.

While staring at his picture, and the roses sitting there.

A year went by, and it was hard to live without her mate.

With loneliness and solitude, that had become her fate.

Then, the very hour, as on Valentines before,

The doorbell rang, and there were roses, sitting by her door.

She brought the roses in, and then just looked at them in shock.

Then, went to get the telephone, to call the florist shop.

The owner answered, and she asked him, if he would explain,

Why would someone do this to her, causing her such pain?

"I know your husband passed away, more than a year ago,"

The owner said, "I knew you'd call, and you would want to know."

"The flowers you received today, were paid for in advance."

"Your husband always planned ahead, he left nothing to chance."

"There is a standing order, that I have on file down here,

And he has paid, well in advance, you'll get them every year.

There also is another thing, that I think you should know,

He wrote a special little card...he did this years ago."

"Then, should ever, I find out that he's no longer here,

That's the card...that should be sent, to you the following year."

She thanked him and hung up the phone, her tears now flowing hard.

Her fingers shaking, as she slowly reached to get the card.

Inside the card, she saw that he had written her a note.

Then, as she stared in total silence, this is what he wrote...

"Hello my love, I know it's been a year since I've been gone,
I hope it hasn't been too hard for you to overcome."
"I know it must be lonely, and the pain is very real.
For if it was the other way, I know how I would feel.
The love we shared made everything so beautiful in life.
I loved you more than words can say, you were the perfect wife."
"You were my friend and lover, you fulfilled my every need.
I know it's only been a year, but please try not to grieve.
I want you to be happy, even when you shed your tears.
That is why the roses will be sent to you for years."

Let me tell you about a little girl who was born into a very poor family in a shack in the Backwoods of Tennessee. She was the 20th of 22 children, prematurely born and frail. Her survival was doubtful. When she was four years old she had double pneumonia and scarlet fever - a deadly combination that left her with a paralyzed and useless left leg. However, one day, she came in next to last. And then there came a day when she won a rece. From then on, Wilma Rudolph won every race that she entered.
Wilma went to Tennessee State University, where she met a coach named Ed Temple. Coach Temple saw the indomitable spirit of the girl, that she was a believer and that she had great natural talent. He trained her so well that she went to the Olympic Games.
There she was pitted against the greatest woman runner of the day, a German girl named Jutta Heine. Nobody had ever beaten Jutta. But in the 100-meter dash, Wilma Rudolph won. She beat Jutta again in the 200-meters. Now Wilma had two Olimpic gold medals.
Finally came the 400-meter relay. It would be Wilma against Jutta once again. The first two runners on Wilma's team made perfect handoffs with the baton. But when the third runner handed the baton to Wilma, she was so excited she dropped it, and Wilma saw Jutta taking off down the track. It was impossible that anybody could catch this fleet and nimble girl. But Wilma did just that! Wilma Rudolph had earned three Olympic gold medals.

"Time Management Parable

Story for th week . LOL .

A Girl in CD Store

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission.

He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

She looked up and asked, "Can I help you?"

She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.

He said, "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to buy a CD."

He picked one out and gave her money for it.

"Would you like me to wrap it for you?" she asked, smiling her cute smile again.

He nodded and she went to the back.

She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.

So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...

Few days later ...

!!!RRRRRING!!!

The mother picked up the phone and said, "Hello?"

It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, "You don't know? He passed away yesterday..."

The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day. The mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.

Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it.

It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn

The mother opened another CD...

Again there was a piece of paper. It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me? Love, Jacelyn

Love is... when you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, "I Love You"

Celebration of Life

"On my way home from coaching basketball yesterday, I was listening to WGN; my favorite talk radio station out of Chicago. I could tell right away that there was something wrong by the somber mood of the speaker. There had been a plane crash. Two small planes collided into each other over a northern suburb of Chicago. What made the story hit close to home was that Bob Collins, the morning show man for WGN, was the pilot of one of the planes and had been killed. (I'm sure that many readers have tuned in "Uncle Bobby" on their car radios in the Midwest.) Later that night, as I made my 40 minute drive to my third shift job, I listened as the station reminisced and paid tribute to a man who was loved by many. They told story after story, describing him as the ultimate friend, and a man who had lived life to the fullest. Genuine love and affection poured in from all over the country. The more I listened about how this man had influenced those around him, the more discouraged I became.
Why you ask?
I was discouraged because I wanted to know why we as a culture, wait until somebody has passed away before we tell them how much we love them? Why do we wait until someone's ears can't hear before we let them how much they mean to us? Why do we wait until it is too late before we recall the good qualities of a person? Why do we build someone up after they have gone into eternity? What good does it do then! We share memory after memory, as we laugh, cry, and think back about what was positive in a person's life. Yes, it does help us cope with the grief of losing someone that was special to us. And yes it does bring those who are coping, closer together. But as we lovingly remember this person, our words fall short of the ears that most needed to hear them.
Just once I would like to see a celebration of life, instead of a gathering of death. A celebration where stories are told, eyes mist over, laughter rings out; and as the speaker concludes his or her loving tribute, the person they are honoring rises from their chair and gives them the biggest bear hug! Wouldn't that be something! The special person gets to hear the stories and come to the realization that they have made a difference on this earth. And all this is done well before they leave their earthly bodies and go into eternity. And when the inevitable funeral finally comes, we can say good bye with the knowledge that they knew exactly how people felt about them while they were here on earth.

I now have a stronger resolve to tell those around me how much they mean to me. I am going to let my wife know just how loved and appreciated she is, not only by my words, but also by my actions. I am going to play Batman with my four year old more often, and in the middle of our romping, I am going to grab him, hug him tightly, and tell him how thankful I am that he is my son. I am going to sneak into my sleeping toddler's bedroom, place my lips on his chubby cheek, and thank God for the bundle of joy he has brought into my life. Each day I will make a point to tell both of my boys how much I love them, whether they are four or eighteen! From there, I am going to let family and friends know the tremendous impact they have had on my life. And last but not least, I am going to let the high school players I coach know that I look forward to each and every minute that I get to spend with them in the gym.

Do you love someone? Then tell them!
Has someone been an influence in your life? Then give them a call!
Has someone made a difference in your life? Then write them a letter or send them an email!
Don't let another day go by without letting that person know.
There is something special about a written letter that expresses feelings of love towards another.
I don't know about you, but I have letters and cards from people that I have saved for years, and from time to time, I get them out and reread them.
They can turn a depressing day into one where you realize just how blessed and loved you are.

Life is too short to leave kind words unsaid.
The words you say, or the letter you write, might just make all the difference in the world.

Trees That Wood

"Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty."
Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."

Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."

After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. When one came to the first tree he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter" ... and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.

At the second tree a woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.

When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree so I'll take this one", and he cut it down.

When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end. The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark. The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.

Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time. Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.

Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.

The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best."

went to Sembawang park for 6 Care 07's gathering yesterday ~
surprisingly , ii didn't get lost ;P
but !
ii did something stupid . ii alighted th bus whn ii saw th signboard "Sembawang park" .
so ii ended up walking 1 bus stop .

saw them ,
& found out there were only 2 girls there . (including me xD)
most of th guys went to play @ th playground .

Megan was complaining tht she regretted reaching th park so early . (she was 2/3 hours earlier thn me xD)

MARRIAGE

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside
the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.
My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.--- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband....

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.
Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

since ii've figured out tht this blog is kinda dead ; and tht th purpose of having a blog is for me to look back whn ii'm older ... <- at least , it is , to me :D

so yeah . this post is gonna wrap up this year (:

few days ago , ii checked out my oh-so-dead twitter account .
& realised tht ii've changed ? as in my taste of pictures / choice of words are pretty different now (:

and , looking back at my blog's archives , especially last year's December one - http://t-wilightx.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html , ii don't know what to feel now .
it's like , my December posts last year were on th prefects .
our bond , for th year of 2009 , can be said to be unbreakable . (makes me think of ionic bonding . LOL .)
but ...
now ?
no more waiting for each other during recess/lunch .
no more sharing of tables during breaks (as in , th guys & gals eat at separate tables now).
no more mass outings .
no more chatting/mass convos on Facebook/MSN .
just a simple hii when we see each other .

it's like , exactly 1 year ago , during th December PB trip ,
ii remembered Gaines saying : "ii'm gonna listen to Christmas songs for th entire trip !"
ii was like : " wow . but where did youe get so many Christmas songs ?"
Gaines : " oh . there's a Christmas album by David Archuleta ... "
me goes : " oh okayyyy . ii don't know who is he though . ii only listen to Jesse Mccartney ... "

this year ?
youe only have to say : "David" , "James" , or "Archie" ; & tada . youe've got my full attention xD
hmms .
ii think ii kind of remember when and where this started xD
it was when th prefect gals went to Kbox , & Wynne selected th song , "Crush" .

then , only Wynne knew how to sing this song (ii think) .
ii was staring blankly at th screen , thinking tht th song had a catchy chorus .

so ii went home , youtubed it , and TADA !
tht was when ii got hypnotised , so mesmerised <- hahaas . tht was from "Crush" xD
there (<- meaning youtube) , ii also found ALTNOY and some other songs .
so yeah , tht was more or less how ii started listening to David's songs .

but th important part (for me) weren't th catchy tunes .
th more ii listened to th songs , ii realised tht there was alot of meaning inside th lyrics .
tht was whn ii started downloading more & more songs <- oops xD

& this November !
ii've gotten so obsessed tht ii went all th way to Bugis for David's autograph ^^
hahaas .
but ii think th 4 hours (of waiting xD) was worth it ^^
but seriously ! ii don't know how David manages to shake th hands of thousands of pple without getting tired .

gonna start off with th 1st day :D
reached M'sia & directly went to a college (:
th pple there were really friendly , yay (:

lunched @ a chinese restaurant aft tht , food was fan-tas-ticccc ! ^^
ii couldn't stop stuffing (LOL , ii exaggerated) myself with fish & seafood , hahahahaas ^^

went to th campsite aft tht & were given tents to sleep in .
but (thankfully ? idk if it's a good / bad thing) it rained , so we were given permission to sleep in th MPH (:

but th bad thing was that our tent was HOLEY .
(which meant it had holes ;X)
& ! (which also meant our belongings in th tent were ...) argh .
my sleeping bag ... GG ):
MuiHan's clothes weren't spared either ):

okay okay , enough of th negative side xD
had icebreaking games & dinnered (:
but due to th wet weather , we didn't have our Blindfold walk (at some park or something) ):
played games instead (fun ! :D) , thn had supper (:

had a exco debrief with Mrs. Tan @ 11.45 pm ,
ended up talking about random stuffs with Mrs. Tan , (still 12 plus :D) hahaas ^^

went to ZZZ , but got dragged out of bed (err , not really - sleeping bag) at 3.30am for night patrol duty with MuiHan (:
was half awake throughout th duty (hees) , but ii DID open my eyes big big whn ii heard pple coming out from th MPH / pple walking about . hahaas ^^
got some real ZZZ (finally !) at 4.30am (:

2nd day ! *woots*

Breakfasted , & had activities aft tht (:
which included !

Absailing ? (err , ii think th spelling looks weird)
Kayaking :D
Water confidence ? (at least , ii think tht's it's name xD)

Flying fox was of a greater height , but without water , unlike th one in Bintan xD
it was funnn ! wheee :D

absailing was a sucidal jump from a great height - LOL , kiddin :D (since tht is how ii described it , youe guys should know tht ii didn't play tht one xD)

Kayaking was wheeee too ! :D
at first ii thought only one group was Kayaking , & which th other remaining one would be playing water confidence (getting submerged (?) in water) , so whn ii knew my group would be Kayaking , ii was like so happy tht ii could save my shoes from th water (hees , sry for being evil xD)
who knew ...
th trainer went : "okay , now group 1 switch with group 2"
my group : "ahhhhhh !" ):
LOL :D

but water confidence was fun !
ii didn't know tht ii could actually sleep on water , thanks to th life-jacket ^^
but kinda scary too xD

we were swimming happily (err , more of walking , for me) , following th trainer till we were 5-10m away from th shore (not really far , as compared to th whole water body), until th trainer answered sth ;X

Me *freaks out & clings to life jacket for dear life*

& shared apartment with Hazira , Melanie , Dory & Samantha (:
too bad Hazira & Melanie hogged th master bedroom , leaving me & MuiHan with a common room ):
well , next time ii'll learn from my mistake & chiong for th master bedroom with my roommate , if ii'm tht lucky & get to stay in an apartment next time xD

had dinner @ Pizza Hut !
& wow , th whole Pizza Hut was reserved for us ! ^^
was so happy xD
food was , yum ! xD

did some shopping for chocolates aft tht , hahaas ^^
got myself a Kinder Bueno , hees xD

went to A'Famosa's Cowboy Town for the Red Indian show ^^
wow , th performers were masters of fire ! xD hees ^^

saw alot of animals too ^^
e.g. running chickens , elephants , dancing dogs (yayyy !) and monkeys tht ride on cycles ^^
cuteee ! ^^

there were fireworks !

went up to Mrs. Tan's apartment for planning of S1OC :D

thn we went back to our own apartments :D
suprisingly my apartment-mates were still awake , hahahahahaas ~
they were all watching telly (some shark attack thingy)
thn we played OldMaid (Hazira brought tht one along for th camp xD ) & watched telly until 2am .

wowwww , there were alot of chickens , turkeys , emus , ostriches , peacocks , ducks , flammingos , rabbits , deers & goats ! ^^
Shuoxian said he even saw crocs , buffaloes , zebras , lions , tigers etc etc during a th bus ride there .

reached Yishun stadium @ 7 , was kinda shocked whn ii didn't see anybody wearing S1OC tee , whn ii was outside th gates ;X
but eventually ii saw some prefects were wearing th same as me , cause they came late . LOL .

uh . ii don't think ii'll put up a long post though .
my hands are alr aching ;X

uhhs . 1st day was okay , ii think .
bused to TMFT , ferried to Bintan , thn bused again to Loola resort ( 2h ._. ii was asleep thoughout th bus ride ii think . but at least th bus wasn't as vibra-tish as th one ii took during th PB trip - something to be thankful about ;P )
had road building .
th guys from 3G were pros (:
now ii know road building isn't as easy as putting cement on th ground ;P

2nd day .
Flying fox .
wasn't exactly looking forward to it at first , cause ii don't really like water ;P
ii can't swim for nuts ;P
uhhs . but it was rather fun .
at first ii was expecting someone to push me down , but ii realised whn no one was going to , ii jumped ( sounds sucidal , doesn't it ? ;P )
idk how to describe th feeling , but it's amazing whn your feet doesn't feel anything . though it's kinda scary at first .
thn SPLASH .
landed right in th middle of th pool ( or whatever youe call it ) .
got kinda wet .
approached JiaEe when she asked me to hand th harness ( uh . ii think ii spelled it wrongly ;P ) over to her .

Me (thinks) : " omg . sth bad is going to happen . *and really covers eyes*

but it was fun being totally wet :D

and my shoe died . didn't even look like a shoe whn ii got out ;X

climbed th tree ( and even got a tinyyy leaf . LOL . )
Miss. Woo climbed it too , cause she got saboed by us :D

uh . 3 out of 5 arrows missed badly ;P

skywalk .
uhhs . was worried about th walking on th thin rod 5m ( ii'm bad at estimating ) above th ground at first ( thought ii would just lose my footing , and break some bones . )
but th rod part wasn't tht tough as ii though .
th " flying down " part was worse .
although ii braced myself for some big distance drop ,
ii didn't expect it to be tht bad ( it was worse thn flying fox ii think ;X )
but it was a lil fun . didn't scream whn ii thought ii would ;P

moral of story :
if one wants to be sucidal , don't & never jump of th building . jump into th sea instead :D
water reduces th impact or something . ( ii'm bad at this . LOL )

3rd day . today .
hill trek .
no one died (:
it wasn't as bad as ii thought too (:
much better thn th previous one whn ii injured myself ( argh , th scar's still there ): )
but it was still kinda challenging for 1st timers ( ii can still rememb th first time whn ii hill trekked , ii felt tht ii would just die on th hill ;X )
ZengDing had a lil difficulty whn going down ( cause it was raining ): ) but at least he was okay and got down in one piece at th end of th trek ( hard to say th same for his shirt & trek pants . LOL . )

Boom net . didn't play tht though .
1st : ii didn't want to choke & drown at such an early age . LOL . just kiddin . but ii really can'ttt swim .
2nd : my wet shoe died yesterday . & ii couldn't afford to let my dry shoe , become a wet shoe , and at last , end up like what it's partner did ;P

hmms . went back to th resort aft tht , packed up & left for Bintan ferry terimal .
meaning we had th same 2h ride again ;X
slept my way through :D
ferry ride was okay @ first , but WASN'T okay whn we reached th TMFT .
th ferry kept knocking against sth . or was it th other way round ?
but tht was shaky for sure .
made my head spin ( for th 1st time on a ferry ) ;X

reached SG , CCHY , & home sweet homed ( or else ii won't be typing this ? )

okays , ending this crappy + no pictured post here ( cause my ph's battery was so cooperative . in fact , it was so cooperative tht ii couldn't even take pictures , knowing tht th battery would die in a short while aft taking picts ;X )

& ii learnt / got alot of stuff from th camp :
1. jumping from a height isn't tht impossible as it seems :D
2. ii got 2 blue blacks . one on my head , another one my leg ):
3. sunburns ! which covers a big area , including my nose , and both hands . great . ii'll be so happy during th weekends .
